40 years ago. Wow, I must have done something with myself. Let's See....
After college, started working at Wisconsin electric. Planned to be there only two years before heading to Colorado. I will be celebrating 35 years at Wisconsin Electric in two weeks. So much for Colorado.
I have four girls ranging in age from 33 to 14. So someone please feel some sympathy for me, best expressed in the form of beer.
Speaking of beer, when I'm not making wine, I'm making beer. I am my best customer.
I also enjoy woodworking, gardening, and during the winter I actually like shoveling snow in the piece and quiet. I'm thinking the close quarters with all those daughters might be the driving force.
I'm involved with our church, and for our summer festival I make four different beers, which brings a lot of people to our festival. Are you kind of catching a theme here, with the beer. You might call it a passion of mine.
Looking forward to Falls Fest. If you see me, please don't forget the sympathy.
Oh, and did I mention I'm a grandfather now. That's right, I have a GrandDAUGHTER. Yet another girl. More sympathy please. :)
But in the end I wouldn't have it any other way. All the females in my life are a true blessing.

Fond memories of High School: ?????
During one of the band concerts, being on the top tier in the back with the other percussionists, I fell off the stage. The back curtains were flaying as I used them to climb back up. I'm proud to say that through it all I did not miss a single note of whatever it was I was playing.
There was the scaring of our chemistry teacher (Mr. Alberg???) when we lit the water coming out of the faucet in the Chem Lab, and it actual caught on fire. Ya, it was a geek trick, and it only cost me two days after school cleaning the lab. Well worth it.
The last football practice, when Coach Manchester announced to the seniors that the next days game (against East) would be his last. :(
