I moved to Menomonee Falls from Georgia the August before sophomore year. First day of school, as I was leaving one class and headed to the next, I asked a teacher where the water fountain was. Answer: this school doesn’t have a water fountain. Later I learned it is bubbler.
First cross country meet of the year, instructions being yelled out before the race began: “...and you’re going to take a right at the snow fence.” When asked if anyone had any questions, I had to ask another dumb question, as no one ever heard of a snow fence in Georgia.
Even with the “language barrier”, my Menomonee Falls North experience was awesome!
